Pacific University was founded in 1849, and issued one of the first baccalaureate degrees in the Western United States. Located 35 minutes from downtown Portland, in the small community (17,000 residents) of Forest Grove, Oregon, today Pacific has approximately 2200 students in 30 liberal arts majors
Students who enroll in the Pacific University International Program but need to improve their TOEFL score or pass the GED may attend Capstone to receive the tutoring necessary to reach those goals before participating in the regular curriculum of the International Program.
